Emily Yasmer, DMD

As the daughter of dentist, Dr. Larry Yasmer, Dr. Emily grew up in and around the dental office. She watched her father love his profession, but didn't find interest in the field until she was in college at the University of Florida. Dr. Larry passed away in December of 1998, just after her first semester of dental school also at the University of Florida. "He knew that I was in dental school and was very proud of my achievements. I would have loved to have worked and learned from him but I know that he is with me now daily." She loves meeting old patients of her father and continues his legacy.
Dr. Yasmer returned to Tucson in 2003 and has been helping to create smiles ever since. She does this in the office, volunteering at St. Elizabeth's of Hungary Dental Clinic, Hope Fest and speaking to schools on dentistry & oral hygiene. Dr. Yasmer would love to introduce you to "Joe" her giant set of teeth she brings along with her!
She is a wife and mother of two active boys...so she actually has two full time jobs! In her (very little) free time, she enjoys being active, swimming, skiing and travelling. She also is active in her boys schools and activities, with Tucson Women in Dentistry, Southern Arizona Dental Society and the Open Wide Open Charity Golf Tournament in honor of her father, Dr. Larry Yasmer.
